In December we always have a Gingerbread Week. We focus on comparing and contrasting different versions of the Gingerbread Man. After we read each version, we filled out a story map to help with comparing and contrasting the different versions. In the picture below you can see the four stories we read.

We began working on our friendly, persuasive letters to Santa. Wish I had gotten a picture of the final product! They turned out so cute. They are getting much better with formal writing!
